The Middle East

Istanbul

MAde it safely to Istanbul last night despite being caught off gaurd by the visa requirement at the Turkish Boarder with no money. Luckily before i could imagine the details of being left behind in the middle of nowhere the bus driver lent me the cash. Im guessing i wasnt the first one to miss that particular forsight. Despite it's immense size the metro system was pretty simple so i was able to make it to make it to my hostel in old town istanbul without any real difficulty. Here for atleast 3 more days. Getting pretty travel weary so i might skip Cairo and fly home from Istanbul. Will update you in a couple days.

I just spent a few minutes looking at google maps - locating istanbul, cairo, the turquoise coast etc and I find it mind-boggling where you have been and where you are now. Its pretty cool.
